Print & digital media
England Golf, the governing body for amateur golf in England, oversees over 1,900 clubs and 740,000 members and is affiliated with The R&A, golf’s global governing body.
Initially, I was approached to design a template for the England Golf podcast, enabling the team to edit and post new episodes across their channels. This initial project fostered a strong working relationship, and I have since collaborated on various initiatives to increase golf participation and elevate the sport’s profile across England.
A Diverse Range of Projects
Working with England Golf has been incredibly rewarding, with projects spanning various creative needs. I’ve supported them in designing materials from a recruitment booklet for a board chair position to logos, leaflets, posters, and activity cards aimed at developing golf skills. Each project has been an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s growth and support their mission of expanding golf’s reach across England.
The Start of a Great Relationship
My first project with England Golf was to design a podcast cover template. I presented three initial options, incorporating golf and microphone themes in line with England Golf’s branding. The team selected the commentator’s microphone concept, and I created templates in multiple sizes, featuring live text fields so they could easily update episode numbers and details. This successful collaboration marked the beginning of a strong, ongoing partnership.
Sustainability Drive
In 2022, I collaborated with England Golf to support their sustainability initiative. Starting with social media posts for World Environment Day and Earth Day, we set a consistent visual style for this campaign. This evolved into designing a refreshed version of the England Golf logo to reflect their commitment to promoting sustainability within the sport.
